Collector Confidentiality Charter

1. Principle
Maria de Mangop is founded on a relationship of trust between the House and each Collector.
This relationship extends beyond acquisition. It is defined by discretion, continuity, and a shared understanding of the nature of the Works.
Confidentiality is approached as an integral component of this relationship.
2. Discretion of Identity
The identity of each Collector is treated with strict confidentiality.
Maria de Mangop does not disclose, publish, or circulate the names of its Collectors, except with their prior and explicit consent.
All exchanges remain private and are conducted with the utmost care.
3. Confidentiality of Transactions
All transactions, including pricing, acquisition terms, and commissioning arrangements, are considered confidential.
Such information is not disclosed to third parties, nor used for promotional or commercial purposes.
Each acquisition is treated as a private placement.
4. Commission Process
When a Work is developed through commission, the dialogue between the Collector and Maria de Mangop is conducted within a strictly confidential framework.
Conceptual direction, material choices, and timelines are shared exclusively between the parties involved.
Each commissioned Work remains attached to its context of creation.
5. Limited Circulation of Information
Maria de Mangop maintains a deliberately limited circulation of information.
Visual documentation, previews, and access to forthcoming Works may be shared selectively with Collectors, within a controlled framework.
Such material is intended for private consideration.
6. Image and Representation
Collectors are invited to approach the display and representation of the Works with the same discretion that governs their acquisition.
Public exposure, reproduction, or commercial use of the Works should respect their nature as limited and time-based objects.
Where appropriate, prior consultation is encouraged.
7. Protection of the Work
Each Work is conceived as a carrier of material and perceptual integrity.
Collectors are entrusted with maintaining this integrity through appropriate care, conservation, and placement.
Guidelines provided with each Work form part of this responsibility.
8. Relationship Continuity
The relationship between Maria de Mangop and its Collectors is understood as continuous.
Future access to Works, commissions, and private presentations may be extended based on this relationship, its quality, and its discretion.
9. Final Provision
Confidentiality within Maria de Mangop is a form of alignment.
A shared understanding that certain things gain their full presence when they remain measured, contained, and carefully placed.
